Fiona Muir, our fundraising manager talks about all the exciting things you can get up to during National Parks week

This week (25-31 July) is National Parks week, and this year’s theme is adventure – inspiring everyone to go out and enjoy National Parks. The most adventurous thing I’ve ever done in a National Park is going kayaking nearby St David’s in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. It was absolutely amazing!

Here’s a couple of things you could do this week to unleash your spirit of adventure! Find out the full listing on the National Parks UK website.

You can have a picnic in the Broads National Park

Or in Exmoor its Bogtastic day – a chance to explore bogs, wildlife and heritage!

In the Lake District there’s a guided cycle ride round Lake Windermere

Join in mini missions in the South Downs as part of the Mission: Explore National Parks book launch this week!

And finally, there’s always our walks taking place in ALL the National Parks of England, Wales and Scotland with 38 Degrees!
