A message from our chair
Easter is normally a great time to visit our glorious National Parks, from Dartmoor to Northumberland, from Snowdonia to the Norfolk Broads. We have just come out of winter into the springtime and all we want to do is visit these amazing places, stretch our legs and enjoy their wonder and their beauty.
However, this year I am urging you to stay at home to protect yourself and others against the spread of Covid-19. We must all do our bit as part of the national effort to stop the spread of this virus and give our NHS the crucial breathing space it needs.
There are still plenty of fun things to do at home this Easter. Whether it’s in the garden, reading a good book or downloading a podcast, we can make the best out of this difficult situation. We can also be inspired by the amazing photos you see here, the winners of the CNP photo competition.
At Campaign for National Parks we haven’t stopped and are doing the very best we can, working to ensure our National Parks are even more beautiful, better protected and accessible for all. It is comforting to know that they are always there for us.
Soon enough we will back to normal. Until then, please stay at home this Easter.
Thank you for your support.
