Big achievements for Mosaic Youth project

After three fantastic years, we have come to an end of our Mosaic Youth project, inspiring young people to use and enjoy National Parks

“Mosaic has introduced me to different experiences I hadn’t heard of and would not have tried otherwise. It’s given me a new range of skills, opened up what’s around me and shown me career opportunities I would never have thought about. This has helped me build my confidence and self esteem as well as meeting awesome people.” Leia, Lake District National Park

We’re delighted to have introduced thousands of 16-25 year olds to National Parks for the first time and given them the opportunity to work and volunteer in the Parks. Young Champions have taken part in activities as diverse as caving, writing poetry, planning a new youth forum, organising a medieval pony trek and talking to MPs in Parliament about recognition for a range of outdoor activities.

This has made a huge difference to the future of these young people – helping them get into employment, further education and training. Read case studies, the evaluation and get more information here.
