National Parks come alive with the sound of celebration
There’s not long left until we celebrate our 80th anniversary with 38 Degrees with free walks in all the National Parks!
On the 30 of July we’ve organised free activities to take place in every National Park in England, Wales and Scotland to celebrate our 80th birthday.

80 years ago this year, we were founded by a group of people who were passionate about protecting some of our most beautiful landscapes for future generations to enjoy.
Campaigning organisation 38 Degrees wanted to celebrate this incredible achievement and the things that can be achieved when we work together. Last year we worke4d with 38 Degrees on our Stop the Cuts campaign and successfully protected over £350million of funding for English National Parks, AONBs and public forests.
The theme of the events is inspired by nature and there will be a guided walk and an arts led workshop in all of the National Parks. Richard Shilling the land artist who is curating the workshops speaks below about why he’s supporting Campaign for National Parks on this monumental year!
