When is it?

The Big Half will take place on Sunday 4 March 2018.

What are the events in The Big Half?

The Big Half, organised by London Marathon Events Ltd, will be the annual half marathon every elite runner will want to win, just weeks ahead of the Virgin Money London Marathon. In addition to the global superstars of distance running, the thousands of mass runners will inspire spectators to take up the challenge in future years. The course will be ratified for world records.

What is the route?

The iconic route for The Big Half starts by Tower Bridge by the Tower of London and goes east to Canary Wharf before doubling back to cross Tower Bridge and follow the river to finish in the spectacular setting of historic Greenwich. The route goes through four London boroughs: Southwark, Lewisham, Tower Hamlets and Greenwich.

Runners in The Big Half must be 17 on 4 March 2018.
